Amsterdam, 7 November 2024 – Elsevier donates residual value of laptops to Kinderen van de Voedselbank

Elsevier has donated the residual value of their written-off laptops to Kinderen van de Voedselbank. “Elsevier holds social causes close to heart, especially when it comes to children in poverty,” said Rene Kennis of Elsevier. Jan Woldberg of Kinderen van de Voedselbank added, “With this donation from Elsevier, we can improve the lives of even more children in poverty.”

The donation was made possible with the help of the ITdonations foundation, which collected the equipment from Elsevier, carefully removed the data, and ensured a second life and a good residual value.

Call to action:
“We hope that more companies will donate their written-off equipment so that together we can contribute to a better future for children in poverty,” said Aswin de Koning of Elsevier.
