PCI and Circular IT group announce strategic partnership
PCI Netherlands and Circular IT group are promoting sustainability within the IT sector by announcing a strategic partnership
Zoetermeer, 1 March 2023 – Circular IT group appoints new CEO and is strengthened with CCO. Maarten de Roos (1975) will start work as CEO of Circular IT Group from 1 March. The group will also appoint Wilco van Bezooijen (1970) as the group’s CCO.
Maarten de Roos – a strategic leader with experience in accelerated, international growth
From 1 March, Maarten de Roos will assume the role of CEO of Circular IT Group. Maarten started his career in consulting at DiamondCluster (now Oliver Wyman) and PWC, before moving towards more hands-on positions in corporate development and strategy at several highgrowth, technology companies. For the past 6.5 years, he has been CEO at technology-driven service provider Bouwatch, which under his leadership grew from a Dutch company with 27 employees to an international organisation with more than 400 employees. The company was recognised as one of the 250 top growing companies in the Netherlands in 2021. His expertise in international expansion and accelerated growth fits perfectly with Circular IT Group’s ambition to become the European market leader in Circular IT. Maarten will take over from interim CEO Jean-Pierre Verhoeven.

Wilco van Bezooijen – an experienced leader with commercial intuition
From 1 March, Wilco van Bezooijen will take up the role of CCO of Circular IT Group. Wilco brings over 30 years of experience in IT services and hardware sales with positions at Xerox, Ricoh, Veenman and Kyocera. After several years in multiple Sales Account Executive roles, he held several management positions, including the Managing Director position at Veenman. In 2013, he returned to his first employer Xerox, where he became Managing Director of the Netherlands. Wilco’s expertise in the IT sector combined with commercial talent and leadership will be essential for further developing the proposition and building a versatile sales organisation.

Jean-Pierre Verhoeven: “In recent months, Circular IT Group has experienced tremendous growth. It was a long search for suitable candidates to lead Circular IT Group and continue this growth. I confidently hand over my duties to Maarten and Wilco and I wish them tremendous success and pleasure at this fine group.”
