ForFarmers donates residual value of IT equipment to KiKa

  • ESG

Lochem, 21 December 2023 – ForFarmers had its old, defective IT equipment that is no longer usable, safely and responsibly removed by the foundation ITdonations. The residual value of the equipment, € 5,694, was donated to KiKa (Stichting Kinderen Kankervrij). After data removal, the equipment was given a second life where possible.

Kevin Willemsen, Senior IT Support Engineer at ForFarmers: “Children should play, learn and enjoy their youth. Unfortunately, for many children this is made impossible by childhood cancer. Our donation is a small contribution to this important goal.”

“It’s nice to see that this donation is made possible with the residual value of old IT equipment. Hopefully this will also inspire other organizations to donate the residual value of their old IT equipment to KiKa,” says Jakolien van Eijk of KiKa. “This way, we can do even more to research into childhood cancer in the Netherlands.”
