SUSTAINABILITY WITH CIRCULAR IT
Our three goals are based on three of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that the UN has set out for a better and more sustainable world for all. We looked at what we want to achieve and how we can make a difference for each SDG.
Our goal
To ensure the well-being and prosperity of everyone in the CITg value chain
How we want to make a difference
We create a healthy and safe working environment for all our people, including migrants and people in precarious work. We treat everyone equally, regardless of their gender, cultural background or limitations. We guarantee equal pay for all genders when it comes to work of equal value.
We insist on decent working conditions, oppose modern slavery and child labour, and ensure fair wages for everyone in our supply chain. To achieve this, we work with key suppliers who have committed to RBA/BSCI certification and require them to sign our code of conduct.
Our goal
To reduce e-waste and resource depletion by recycling, extending product life and moving to a circular economy.
How we make a difference
We are committed to reducing e-waste and ensuring the transition to a circular economy. The aim is to eliminate waste and pollution by keeping products and materials in use for as long as possible. We do this by helping customers apply the 10R principles of circularity.
Our goal
To reduce our CO2 emissions and promote carbon reduction in the value chain.
How we want to make a difference
Our responsibility extends from our direct operations to the lifecycle of our products. Most of our impact on the environment is indirect, through the products of our production partners and services to customers and suppliers. Through sustainable procurement and reuse and recycling of IT hardware, we can help reduce these emissions. We aim to be climate neutral for Scope 1 and 2 by 2030 and to dramatically reduce our emissions in Scope 3.
Read here how together we can make IT hardware circular. By using the steps from the Utrecht Sustainability Institute’s 10R model for circularity, we all contribute to this.

Even if your IT hardware is no longer in use, we’ve got your back. We’ll pick up the hardware, ensuring a 100% certified and secure data destruction, and calculate its residual value. You can then choose to donate that value to a charity of your choice through ITdonations, an initiative by the Circular IT group. Join us and transform lives with your old IT hardware!
