From here, we collect retired laptops, desktops, servers and network equipment from organisations across Glasgow, central Scotland, England, Wales, and Ireland. Glasgow also serves as a base for complex global ITAD projects. We erase or destroy the data and return the agreed residual value where equipment can be reused and resold. We buy retired laptops, desktops, servers, storage and network equipment from HP, Dell, Lenovo, Apple, IBM, Cisco and other brands. Our IT asset recovery service helps businesses recover residual value from surplus hardware, with secure data erasure before resale.

Our certified data erasure service uses Blancco software to NIST 800-88, either at our facility or on your premises. We securely erase data from laptops, desktops, servers and storage devices, providing an asset-linked erasure certificate. Suitable equipment is then safely refurbished, reused or resold.

Our secure data destruction services include physical hard drive shredding for HDDs, SSDs, tapes, phones and other data carriers, to DIN 66399 E5 and H5 where needed. When data-bearing media must be destroyed at your premise on-site shredding is available.

Our UK ITAD process is designed to keep assets documented from collection through to erasure, destruction, reuse or recycling.
ADISA assesses logistics, asset management, chain of custody, physical security, data sanitisation and process control, and awards Gold only where residual risk is lowest. The UK operation holds Gold. It also holds ISO 27001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and Cyber Essentials, is registered with the ICO, and is a SEPA-approved authorised treatment facility and registered waste carrier.

We collect with our own secure transport. Every vehicle, including any third-party transport we use, is GPS tracked, and equipment is counted and documented before it moves. The chain of custody runs from your door to our floor without a gap.
Drives are erased or shredded at our facility, straight after registration and nothing is resold, redeployed or donated until the certificate exists. If no intact drive may leave your premises, book on-site erasure or shredding instead. Most on-site jobs are finished within a few hours.
Disposal is the last resort. After erasure, suitable hardware is tested and graded for resale or redeployment. You receive the value, or you can direct it to a charity, as firmus energy in Belfast did.

Secure IT equipment collection
We collect retired IT equipment from your premises in Glasgow or across the UK. Collections start from 10 devices for registered businesses and organisations. Every item is counted and documented before leaving your premises.
Data erasure or destruction
Every IT asset is registered on arrival before undergoing secure data erasure or destruction. Suitable laptops, desktops and other working hardware are then tested and graded for refurbishment, reuse or resale. Assets are tracked through the process.
Reporting and payment
You receive a collection receipt, an erasure or destruction certificate for each processed device, and a report showing what was reused or recycled. Where equipment has resale value, you receive the agreed residual payment.
Our transport covers Glasgow, Edinburgh, Lanarkshire, Stirling and central Scotland. Collections elsewhere in the UK are arranged from the same operation. Multi-site projects across the UK and Europe are coordinated from Glasgow with the group’s facilities in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Yes. We collect from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Lanarkshire and central Scotland and bring it in for processing. Collections further afield in the UK are arranged the same way.
Ten devices per collection, from registered businesses and organisations. We do not collect from private individuals.
Data is erased using Blancco to NIST 800-88 or physically destroyed, depending on the equipment and your requirements. On-site erasure or shredding is available where data-bearing media must not leave your premises intact.
Working hardware is remarketed or redeployed after erasure, and you are paid for it. Hardware without resale value is recycled through our WEEELABEX-certified process.
You receive a receipt at collection, a certificate per device and a final report showing what was reused and what was recycled, providing an audit trail of the equipment processed.

Mace Construct, the London construction company, has used us for ITAD, laptop reuse and lifecycle management for over 10 years. Its retired laptops are erased and passed to the Mace Foundation for young people starting careers in construction.
Belfast gas supplier firmus energy retired its IT through us and chose to donate the recovered value to Action Mental Health.
We refurbished 24 SkyShowtime laptops and supported their donation to The King’s Trust. They are now with young people in Newcastle who had no device of their own.
