  • How do you help organisations securely manage IT?

We support the full IT lifecycle with secure logistics, certified data erasure, compliant disposal and transparent reporting. This ensures your organisation stays protected, efficient and fully compliant.

  • What IT solutions do you offer?

We provide circular IT solutions across the entire hardware lifecycle, including ITAD, Device as a Service and IT lifecycle management, as well as procurement options, purchasing new or refurbished hardware, rental and short/long-term leasing.

  • How does Circular IT group support sustainability goals?

We extend the life of IT equipment, reduce e‑waste and provide detailed ESG reporting. Our circular approach helps organisations lower their environmental impact while improving hardware efficiency.

  • In which countries does CITg operate?

ITAD

  • Do you provide secure transportation?

Yes. All equipment is collected using GPS‑tracked vehicles and a fully documented chain of custody. Every item is counted and registered before transit, ensuring complete transparency and security from collection to arrival.

  • What data erasure standards do you follow?

We use certified erasure methods that meet NIST 800‑88, DIN 66399, ISO 27001, NEN 7510 and WEEELABEX requirements. As a Blancco Gold ITAD Partner, we guarantee full compliance and complete traceability for every asset. See our full list of certifications here.

  • Do you provide certificates of data destruction?

Yes. You receive full documentation for every processed asset, including data erasure certificates, destruction certificates and detailed asset‑level reports.

  • When is ITAD relevant?

ITAD becomes relevant when your IT equipment reaches the end of its useful life or no longer meets your operational needs. Timely processing helps you avoid data risks, reduce costs and support sustainability through reuse and responsible recycling.

  • How does the ITAD process work?

Our ITAD process includes request intake, secure pickup, GPS‑tracked transport, asset registration, certified data wiping, preparation for reuse, detailed reporting and final settlement or payment. Each step is fully documented to ensure transparency and compliance.

  • How much is my old hardware still worth?

The value depends on factors such as brand, model, specifications, age, condition and market demand. We provide a no‑obligation valuation so you know exactly what your equipment is worth before processing.

  • Why is IT Asset Recovery important?

IT asset recovery protects sensitive data, ensures compliance and maximises the remaining value of your hardware. It also reduces e‑waste and supports a more sustainable IT lifecycle.

  • What is the difference between ITAR and ITAD?

IT Asset Recovery (ITAR) covers the full end‑of‑life journey of IT assets, from collection and data erasure to reuse, resale and recycling.

IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) focuses specifically on the secure processing and disposal of those assets within that broader lifecycle.

  • What IT hardware can you recycle?

We recycle a wide range of IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, servers, printers, monitors and networking devices such as routers and switches.

  • What happens to the data on recycled hardware?

All data is securely erased in line with certified standards. If wiping is not possible, we physically destroy the data carriers to guarantee complete data security.

  • What is IT recycling and why is it important?

IT recycling is the responsible processing of electronic waste to recover valuable materials and reduce environmental impact. By recycling IT equipment properly, organisations help minimise e‑waste, conserve resources and support a more circular economy.

  • How does ITAD contribute to sustainability goals?

ITAD promotes reuse, refurbishment and responsible recycling, significantly reducing e‑waste and CO₂ emissions. It supports circular‑economy targets and helps organisations measure their impact through transparent reporting.

IT Hardware

  • What kind of IT hardware do you buy?

We buy used business IT equipment that is complete, functional and in good condition. This includes laptops, desktops, smartphones, tablets, servers, storage systems and networking equipment.

  • What types of IT equipment do you accept?

We accept a wide range of business IT equipment, including laptops, desktops, smartphones, servers, storage systems and networking devices. As a guideline, we typically process batches of 10 devices or more to ensure an efficient and cost‑effective process.

  • Can I trade in my old hardware when purchasing new equipment?

Yes. You can trade in your old equipment and receive a discount on new purchases or contribute to a more sustainable circular economy. We provide a transparent valuation so you know exactly what your trade‑in is worth.

  • How much is my old hardware still worth?

The value depends on brand, model, specifications, age, condition and market demand. We offer a no‑obligation valuation to give you immediate insight into the residual value of your equipment.

  • Do you also offer used IT hardware?

Yes. We supply high‑quality refurbished IT hardware with warranty, giving you reliable performance at a lower cost, without compromising on quality or sustainability.

  • How long can I rent for?

We offer flexible rental periods, from short‑term projects to long‑term solutions. You can also start with a Proof of Concept to test the hardware in your own environment before committing.

  • What is your rental rate?

Rental rates depend on the type of equipment and the length of the rental period. Request a quote for a quick and transparent cost overview.

  • Can I take over the systems after the rental?

Yes. If your needs become permanent, we can provide a purchase proposal, including the option for a tailored service contract.

  • What is the difference between buying and leasing IT hardware?

Buying gives you full ownership and lower long‑term costs, while leasing offers flexibility without upfront investment. Leasing also allows you to scale more easily and spread costs over time.

IT Services

  • What is Device as a Service (DaaS)?

DaaS combines hardware with full lifecycle services, from procurement and deployment to support, repairs, redeployment and secure disposal. It gives organisations more flexibility, predictable costs and a more sustainable IT approach.

  • How is DaaS different from traditional IT leasing?

Leasing only covers the hardware. DaaS adds lifecycle services, visibility, support and ESG alignment, helping organisations reduce waste and improve ROI.

  • Can we use our own devices with Circular Workplace?

Yes. Existing hardware can be integrated into our service layers, such as logistics, redeployment or ITAD. This extends device value and keeps your fleet consistent.

  • How fast can devices be delivered or replaced?

In full‑service packages, pre‑staged stock is ready within 24–48 hours. Portal‑based packages follow a structured delivery schedule.

  • Which devices and brands are supported?

We support desktops, laptops, tablets, phones and accessories across all major brands, including Dell, HP, Lenovo, Apple and Microsoft. Mixed fleets and existing vendor contracts are fully supported under one SLA.

  • What is IT Lifecycle Management?

IT Lifecycle Management ensures that IT assets are planned, deployed, supported and retired in a structured and efficient way. It helps organisations reduce costs, minimise risks and improve sustainability across the entire IT estate.

  • Which companies benefit most from ITLM?

Any organisation with a significant number of IT assets, from SMEs to large enterprises, can reduce risks, save costs and improve efficiency with a well‑designed ITLM strategy.

  • How do you ensure compliance and data security?

We use certified data wiping, secure chain‑of‑custody logistics and physical destruction when required. All processes meet GDPR, ISO and local regulatory standards.

  • Can I donate my hardware?

Yes. Through ITdonations, an initiative of Circular IT group, you can donate hardware securely and transparently, supporting social impact projects while ensuring full data protection.
