Request a free valuationOld rack servers and storage units often take up valuable space in server rooms or data centres. By recycling outdated infrastructure in a timely manner, you free up room for more efficient, energy-saving systems and maintain a well-organised IT environment.
Server components such as power supplies, CPUs, RAM, and SSDs may still hold residual value when recycled properly. This helps reduce costs compared to standard e-waste processing, making server disposal a more financially attractive option.
Decommissioned servers often contain highly sensitive business data stored on internal drives, RAID arrays, or hot-swappable disks.
Certified server recycling ensures secure data wiping in compliance with GDPR and ISO 27001 standards, helping prevent data breaches and ensuring full legal compliance.
Servers contain reusable resources like copper, aluminium, gold, and rare metals found in circuit boards and power supplies.
Responsible recycling helps recover these critical materials, reducing your organisation’s carbon footprint and supporting your sustainability goals. It’s environmentally responsible, and great for your ESG profile.
Secure and responsible server recycling requires specialised expertise and a meticulous approach. That’s why Circular IT group works exclusively with certified processing partners who meet strict standards in quality management, data security, and environmental compliance.
This ensures your decommissioned server equipment is handled reliably, from certified data destruction to environmentally friendly dismantling.

Benefits of Device as a Service (DaaS)
More and more organisations are shifting to Device as a Service (DaaS) as a smarter, scalable, and more sustainable way to manage their IT hardware. A clear overview of the key benefits.
Network as a Service (NaaS): Flexible, secure and scalable
Organisations are turning to Network as a Service (NaaS), a scalable, managed alternative to traditional hardware. This blog explains what NaaS is, why it matters, and how it supports modern IT environments.
Absolutely. In addition to servers, we also recycle various data centre components such as storage systems, switches, PCs, desktop computers, laptops, tablets, monitors, and peripheral devices.
Server hardware often contains sensitive business data on hard drives, SSDs, or RAID arrays. All data is securely and completely erased in accordance with current data protection laws, including the GDPR. This minimises the risk of data breaches.
We use certified data erasure software and, when required, perform physical destruction of drives. After completion, you receive an official certificate of data destruction, including the serial numbers of all processed devices, ensuring full compliance documentation.
