Circular IT group is delighted to announce the official opening of our new ITAD facility in Kontich, Belgium.
The launch of our Belgium site has been a true labour of love. It is already optimising IT lifecycles and delivering secure ITAD solutions for clients in Belgium and across Europe, including the UK.
This milestone marks a significant step forward in our mission to build a circular future for IT across Europe. The new 5,500 m² facility in Kontich will serve as a strategic hub for circular IT solutions, connecting customers, partners, and changemakers who believe in technology’s power to drive cost-efficeny and positive social change.
We’re proud to lead by example and to invite others to join us in rethinking how technology is used, reused, and valued.

The opening of Circular IT group Kontich further strengthens our European network and reinforces our commitment to delivering sustainable, secure, and certified IT lifecycle services, including ITAD, ITAM, and both new and refurbished IT hardware and networking equipment in Belgium.
Strategically located near Antwerp, the new facility enables faster delivery, enhanced local service, and even closer collaboration with our customers and partners across the region.
Belgium has long been a frontrunner in sustainability, and our new Kontich site builds on that legacy. The facility features an advanced logistics and refurbishment centre, purpose-built around circular economy principles to maximise resource efficiency and minimise environmental impact.
The Circular IT group Kontich site spans 5,500 m², combining operational efficiency with environmental responsibility.
Every detail demonstrates our dedication to operating in line with the principles we promote: reuse, recycle, and reduce.
Every part of the facility reflects our belief that sustainability starts with our own actions:
Even before its official launch, the Circular IT group Belgium has made a meaningful mark on the community, proving that its impact extends beyond operations.
Earlier this year, we had the true honour of welcoming Her Majesty Queen Mathilde of the Belgians to the Circular IT group.
The visit recognised our involvement with Digital for Youth, a program that repurposes used IT equipment to support digital access for young people.
It was a proud moment for our team, and a powerful reminder that circular IT can change lives far beyond the workplace.
We were also privileged to host The Ada Talks at our site, an inspiring event series dedicated to promoting women in tech, celebrating role models, and advancing inclusion, diversity, and neurodiversity in the ICT industry.
Supporting initiatives like Ada Talks aligns perfectly with our mission to create not only a sustainable but also an inclusive circular economy.
Our collaboration with Rabobank and Close the Gap showcases how partnerships can multiply impact. Rabobank and Close the Gap showcase how partnerships can multiply impact.
Since 2012, Rabobank has been donating its used ICT equipment to create social value through our circular channels. We welcomed the Rabobank Sustainability IT team and Niels van Campen, General Manager of Close the Gap Nederland, for a tour through our warehouse.
The place “where the magic happens.” We brought the circular ethos to life for the Rabobank team, demonstrating on-site how decommissioned devices are transformed into tools of opportunity for communities worldwide.
Together with Close the Gap, Toyota Material Handling Belgium donated four pallets of ICT equipment, collected and processed by our Circular IT group Kontich ITAD team. From laptops to servers, every device is sorted and prepared for a meaningful second life in social impact projects.
This partnership embodies our shared belief in sustainable IT and the circular economy, proving how collaboration can turn used technology into positive change.
A huge thank you to Toyota Material Handling Belgium for powering our mission!
We were delighted to welcome De Lovie, a Belgian nonprofit that supports children, young people, and adults with intellectual disabilities to Circular IT group Kontich.
Together with Digital for Youth, we showcased how refurbished IT creates real social and environmental impact.
The Kontich site is a strategic step in Circular IT group’s European growth journey. With operations in the UK, Netherlands, Germany, France and several other European countries, we are building a connected network of facilities that share the same vision: to make circular IT the standard.
In 2025, we’ll take another major step forward when all our brands, including RefurishedDirect and iUsed, unite under a single name: Circular IT group. This unification will strengthen our identity and make it easier for customers across Europe to access our full range of IT lifecycle services, from refurbished IT hardware to secure data destruction and asset recovery.
For companies pursuing ESG targets or seeking to decarbonise their IT infrastructure, we provide both the expertise and the practical solutions to make it happen. The launch of Circular IT group Kontich means that Belgian businesses now have direct access to a trusted partner in sustainable IT:
