What is WEEELABEX?
WEEELABEX (Waste Electric and Electronic Equipment LABel of EXcellence) is a European initiative that ensures the quality of collection, storage, transport, recycling and reuse of e-waste. The aim is to ensure responsible treatment of electronic waste throughout the chain, from collection to recycling.
Processors and providers of electronic material must comply with WEEELABEX rules. In addition, processed quantities must be registered in the (W)EEE Register to ensure transparency and compliance with the regulations.
